About TTM Wiki

TTM Wiki is a fast search engine for the Queensland temporary traffic management (TTM) industry. It puts the Queensland publications that traffic management designers, implementers and traffic controllers work from into one place, and lets you search them sentence by sentence.

What's included

133 Queensland publications (5,138 pages), including:

Austroads guides and Australian Standards are not included. Many Queensland documents supplement them, so you will still need those for the full picture.

How it works

  • Each PDF is read page by page. The DeepSeek V4.1 language model rebuilds the text into its real structure (headings, paragraphs, lists, notes, tables and figure captions) without rewording it.
  • Every paragraph is split into sentences, and every table row is also restated as a plain-English sentence, so each one can be found by search.
  • Search runs on Typesense, an open-source engine that answers in milliseconds, tolerates typos and understands industry abbreviations such as TC, TGS, TMA, PTS and VMS.
  • Results are grouped by section. Selecting a sentence opens the section with that sentence highlighted, and every page links back to the matching page of the original PDF.

Ask AI

The Ask AI page answers questions in plain English using DeepSeek V4.1. It is only given excerpts from the documents in the library, and it must cite them. Every answer links to the clauses it used, so you can check the source. If the documents don't cover something, it says so rather than guessing.

Quizzes

The quiz on QGTTM Part 3 is open book: search while you answer. The questions were written by hand and checked against the document text, and every answer links to the sentence that proves it. Sign in to save your progress; each new attempt focuses on questions you haven't mastered.
