1Introduction#
This section provides further information for agencies assessing the use of kerbside road space. Austroads' Guide to Traffic Management Part 11: Parking management techniques provides a list of factors to be considered but there is no quantification of magnitude of the risks, information on the scope, or other pertinent issues that need to be assessed when considering these factors. This section provides additional information on the factors to be considered by asset managers and other operational staff to identify and assess operational issues and make an informed decision when assessing the use of kerbside road space.
