Contact Queensland Police Service4 (QPS) to confirm it is classified as a 'special event'1 and what needs to be considered to manage any impacts.#

You do not need to follow this process. However, contact Queensland Police Service 4 (QPS) and your local council to confirm it is not classified as a 'special event'1 and does not impact the operation of public roads.#

Registered traffic management company using a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and Traffic Guidance Scheme/s (TGS).#

A Traffic Management Designer (TMD) will need to prepare a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and Traffic Guidance Scheme/s (TGS).6#

If Event Traffic Marshalls (ETMs) are identified on the TGS, the event organiser is to engage ETMs in accordance with TMR's Event Traffic Marshal Approved Procedure.#

Event organiser to obtain relevant approvals (such as QPS permit, TMR permit and/or local council permit/s).#

Hold your event in accordance with your TMP, TGS, permits and/or other conditions.7#
