Official traffic sign means a sign, marking, light or device placed or erected to regulate, warn, instruct or guide traffic to which the methods, standards and procedures are prescribed in this manual or are approved by the Director-General, Transport and Main Roads.

A person who is registered as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), under the Professional Engineers Act 2002 (Queensland) with the Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland, to provide a professional engineering service.
