32.5.3AmendmentRevised requirements for mounting signs in a more permanent manner. Any sign may be mounted in a permanent manner, while signs required for works which will be in progress for longer than 14 days are now recommended to be installed on posts.

Detour markers are required at all changes of direction and recommended at any intersection along the detour route where drivers may consider turning or require reassurance. 53.4AmendmentChanged requirement from one light to two lights for an inspection vehicle regularly used for that activity. Added where two lights are required, they are to be separated and placed as far apart as practical. Added sight distance requirements. Added option of using a LED light assembly / assemblies in lieu of a flashing lamp / lamps.
