(16L)Court may deal with a charge even if laboratory test result unknown#
Nothing contained in subsections (16H) to (16K) precludes the court in its discretion from dealing with a charge of an offence against section 79(1), (2AA) or (7A) on the application of the defendant notwithstanding that at that time the result of the laboratory test of the specimen of the blood or of saliva of the defendant is not known if— the defendant pleads guilty to the offence; and the court is satisfied that the facts available to be put forward by the prosecution, and unchallenged by the defendant, are sufficient to enable it to deal properly with the matter.
