6.8.5Standard operating conditions#
SPDs are generally designed to operate under the following standard conditions:
- mains frequency between 48 to 62 Hz
- altitude not exceeding 2000 m
- normal operating temperature range -5°C to +40°C
- extended operating temperature range -40°C to +70°C, and
- indoor relative humidity range 30% to 90%.
